Busselton’s oldest address is its newest. Settlers Beach Estate is now selling Stage 3.

Don’t miss out on this opportunity to acquire your piece of the original property in the heart of Busselton.

Whether you are drawn to the history of this region, or have an eye for its exciting future, Settlers Beach Estate has something to offer everyone. The lifestyle, the beaches, the town itself, all are within reach. Walk to the shopping precinct, stroll along the beach or to the Busselton Jetty, swim or fish in the bay, or take in the local scenery. View the Tuart forest, the flora and fauna, in particular the unique birdlife of the neighbouring RAMSAR wetland reserve, an area of international interest that once formed part of the Sandilands property.

In 1845, Charles Bussell settled land in the new settlement of Vasse, to build a wayside inn and establish the regions first vineyard. Sheltered in Geographe Bay, “The Vasse” was merely a few houses, a government store, a church and a beachfront beacon known as “The Tub”. The land Charles chose was situated between the Vasse River Estuary and the ocean and named “Sandilands”. The Bussell family settled throughout the district, which has developed into the beautiful and flourishing region that we have today. Over a century and a half later, the original homestead remains – “Sandilands” – Sussex Location One.

Today “Sandilands” is still home to the Willmott family, descendants of the Bussells. The surrounding farmland, having known the footsteps and touch of Busselton’s original settlers, is still known by the family as Location One.

Now a part of this region’s history can be yours.
